About Christina Hidalgo
I identify within the LGBTQ+, Queer, non monogamous, and kink community and I am competent to support others in this space. I have 10+ years of social worker experience working with youth and adult populations. As a social worker and woman of color, I am highly motivated by social justice. I am Christina Hidalgo, a bilingual, first-generation Latina, and a LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) based in Austin/Houston, Texas. I would like to support your journey of finding a stronger connection to your true authentic self by exploring your concerns, strengths, limitations, background, beliefs, needs, desires and goals. You are an expert on yourself and with my support we can facilitate a safe trusting space with curiosity and compassion. I provide individual and couples therapy from a trauma informed, anti-oppression, inclusive space. I support clients navigate through sexuality/sexual wellness, relationships, anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, and grief issues.

I have varied experience including inpatient/outpatient hospital, crisis intervention counseling, health setting, immigration mental health support, domestic violence support and mental health support for children/adolescents in school setting.
